Think it's overrated. Still enjoyed it, but not as expected.
Bowman's Beach的点评
点评：This beach is beautiful, but there's so much more to consider when choosing a beach.
First off, parking is pay by hour via cellphone and a good ways off and there is no shade along the way. I recall $5/hr...?? And the lot is checked often.
However, the walking ramp, bridge and decking are very nicely designed and makes the walking so much easier. It still might be a little rough for toddlers and older people in the heat and families with a lot of beach accessories.
The bathrooms, changing areas and the building itself, wheelchair accessible, were very clean, except for one of the stalls..one person with no shame, 🤦♀️ still probably one of the nicest beach facilities I have been to. The showers are conveniently located along the way.
Now the beach, the sand is beautiful, white and fine. The beach itself is wide and very long. Plenty of space to stretch out if it's crowded. The water is blue from afar, but only somewhat clear, once you get past the break, where it stirs up the sand and shells. There's a slight drop off there too, then levels off.
The afternoon I visited, got busier around 2:30p.
The water was so warm though, I didn't think it was that refreshing.
There are shells that are nice, but none that I didn't see at neighboring beaches. I guess everything is all in the timing.
All in all still had a nice afternoon.

有些贝壳很漂亮，但都是我在邻近海滩见过的。看来一切都取决于时机。
