I wouldn't just 'recommend to a friend' I'd 'insist'.

点评：From the second that we walked through the doors into the cool interior we were made to feel so very welcome. We visited on a family recommendation and so glad that we did. The first visit was to purchase a bottle or two with plans to maybe visit 'les caves' later in the week.
We have a dog and found this to be the best place to visit, explore and learn about the entire process and history of the place while not having to leave the dog elsewhere. NB some Caves will allow dogs but only if carried (our golden retriever is not a 'pocket dog'.)
The staff are fantastic, very knowledgeable (obviously it's their job to know the basics) but they are beyond the usual standard, I know some about wine and the ladies that we spoke with on both occasions left my husband happily sipping while we chatted 'grapes and vines'.
The caves themselves are fantastic currently with the art installations. So interactive, immersive and the quirky addition of the traditional French games towards the end are a fantastic idea and great fun.
Then to be met at the end of what we assumed was our experience we were re met by the lovely staff with a tasting of some classics and offered a direction of our favourites with a fresh bowl of water for our dog. What a lovely experience!
Would definitely recommend.
NB to their absolute credit. There is no 'hard sell' . They don't need to so they don't.
