点评:Beautiful scenery but unpleasant encounter with aggressive sellers
This is a stunning place to visit — it truly felt like walking onto the set of The Lion King. The admission fee was affordable, but be aware that there’s an additional fee if you want to continue to the second waterfall.
Unfortunately, we were followed by women selling souvenirs throughout the visit. They mostly kept their distance until we started heading back. At that point, a group of women suddenly surrounded us. They backed us into a corner, forcefully putting souvenirs into my hands and shouting “no” when I tried to give them back. They even separated me from my 10-year-old daughter and did the same to her.
It was frightening for both of us. I ended up giving them 60,000 Ariary before they finally left. Our guide stood by the entire time and did nothing, even when I shouted for him to intervene.
Despite this experience, I would still recommend visiting because the site itself is breathtaking. Just please be aware of how aggressive the sellers can be — especially if you’re traveling with children
