Nice trail, but we preferred Trillium Falls on the other side of the road

点评：We woke up early because I had read it was hard to get a parking spot. I'd say we arrived around 9 on a Sunday morning and there was plenty of parking. (It was starting to fill up about an hour later when we left). This is a nice walk/hike and doesn't have much elevation gain so it would be a good choice if you have younger kids. We had hiked the Trillium Falls trail the evening before and found that everyone in our family preferred Trillium Falls. Not to say the Lady Bird Johnson was not nice- we just liked Trillium Falls better. The plant undergrowth on the Lady Bird Johnson trail was mostly bushes and the plant undergrowth on the Trillium Falls trail is mostly ferns- so a slightly different feel to each hike.
