From Bayside To The Pier - A Lovely Frankston Beach Walk

Frankston Beach turned out to be a lovely place for a relaxing and scenic walk.
I started from Bayside Shopping Centre and walked towards Kananook Creek Boulevard, crossing the charming wooden bridge before continuing along the beautiful beachfront.
The walk along Frankston Beach was especially enjoyable despite the rough sea and very windy weather that day. The sound of the crashing waves and the cool sea breeze created a dramatic coastal atmosphere.
I eventually reached Frankston Pier, where many locals were enjoying recreational fishing. They sat quietly along the pier with their fishing rods, patiently waiting for fish to bite their bait while enjoying the sea breeze and ocean views.
I walked all the way to the end of the pier and spent some time there soaking in the atmosphere and watching the waves roll in.
One of the locals kindly shared that on particularly rough days, the waves can wash right onto the pier, making it unsafe for people to walk there. It was interesting hearing local stories and experiences while taking in the wild beauty of the sea.
On the return journey, I followed the beach boardwalk bordered by sand dunes and green coastal plants on both sides, creating a peaceful and picturesque natural setting. Passing by the Frankston Life Saving Club added to the classic Australian beach atmosphere before I made my way back towards Kananook Creek Boulevard and finally to Bayside Shopping Centre.
Overall, it was a refreshing coastal walk with beautiful scenery, friendly locals, and a wonderful mix of nature and seaside life.
