点评:Ok so Grand World has been created purely as a tourist trap - that's true. But so have many other places in South East Asia. Some are worth your time and money - others are not. Grand World does deserve a evening visit - a few hours to roam around, soak in the atmosphere, take a gondola ride, watch a show and have dinner.
For the massive area that it covers, at times you wonder how will the ecosystem survive financially if its not constantly teeming with tourists. Prices of certain things like food, shopping, money exchange etc are on the slightly higher side but not by much.
Its been well planned and beautifully constructed - you have to give it that. And once fully operational and filled with tourists it will be a must do in Phu Quoc. The vibes even now are good and some things deserve a visit like the Teddy Bear Museum if you have young kids and the gondola ride if you are with family. Plenty of shopping options and kiosks / restaurants for a quick snack or dinner. The paid night show Colours of Venice / Quintessence Of Vietnam is also supposed to be good - we missed it though as the kids were hungry and couldn't wait.
As Indians you might feel that you have come to a Mall Road of a Indian hill station because you will find Indian tourists all around you but then true about a lot of places in Vietnam.
