ANNUAL VISIT ON MAPLE WEEKEND
Spring Harvest Maple Farm的点评
点评：Each year, I look forward to the Maple Weekends in New Hampshire and Maine. This year the New Hampshire Maple Weekend was March 15th and 16th.
The first place I went to was Spring Harvest Maple Farm. When I arrived about 2:45 PM, there were still over a dozen people there. The place has become more popular in the past few years. It’s good to see the business growing.
I went into the sugar shack and watched and photographed the evaporator at work and breathed in some of the vapor that had a light smell of maple. This is my favorite part of visiting the sugar shacks.
On a side wall, I looked at and photographed some sample bottles of previous years’ harvests, cuts from tapped and untapped trees to show the difference, the Maple Producer logo outside, and the building itself.
At the merchandise table outside, I watched a youngster pick out several pieces of maple candy while her dad got some maple cream and a pint of maple syrup.
I still had plenty of syrup at home, so I didn’t buy any. I did get a piece of the maple candy. I also sampled the maple cream. That was nice and smooth.
I maintain my rating of 5.0 for Spring Harvest Maple Farm and highly recommend a visit.
The reason for the delay in submitting this review was due to a months-long loss of my ability to post photos with my reviews and some health issues that put me 11 months behind for quite awhie, but I’m now getting caught up.
