Private ride not so private

点评：Unfortunately my expectations of the experience from the booking description and the cost were poorly met.
I expected it to be just me and a guide when I booked in for a solo ride given there was an extra cost per rider for going solo, the description of a ‘private’ experience, and you could only book for a solo or couple ride.
So it was incredibly unexpected and very very disappointing for the price that there ended up being 2 other people booked in with me! I’m sure it wasn’t the romantic ride the couple was going for either. Horrified to find out I had paid $190 to third wheel a couple that were there for $260.
I also ride regularly so the only reason I was willing to pay so much to do this was to have a private experience learning specifically about how to ride the different paso gaits since these horses are so rare in Australia. The ride around the small farm was pleasant but there was a lot of stopping and standing around and not much of an opportunity to really experience the paso horses, and again, it certainly wasn’t a private experience despite advertising that it would be.
It also would have been nice to get a video of riding such a unique mount.
Rodrigo was very nice though and I hope he is able to grow the business how he would like to include longer trail rides that are more scenic off-property with the beautiful Peruvian paso horses.
