TRUE IRISH HEARTBEAT OF ASHTON IN MAKERFIELD

点评：My family and i have been attending this club over the generations with my nan Rose O'Grady first attending when she landed in Wigan in the 60's, later then in the Mid 70's my Mum and Dad got married here in 1974 and recently celbrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary there, i myself have been in attendance at the club most of my life and now my two sons learn Irish music at the club.
It is and always has been and always will be the true heartbeat of Ashton In Makerfield, never more so than recently when the vibrant community activities and entertainment offerings are so plentiful.
My family and i recently attended The Kilkennys gig and the place was bouncing and the atmosphere was electric. The bar staff and management committee were so friendly and welcoming and the band even OK'd our boys to have pics taken which made their day.
A true Irish welcome is always guaranteed at the OLDEST Irish Club in the UK, so do yourself a favour and give it a go, you wont be disappointed.
