Absolutely fascinating, enchanting and mesmerizing experience! 😊

点评：We were given a very warm welcome to the exhibition by Maria. When we were all seated Michael and Maria began the presentation. The selected pieces were brought out individually and presented to the audience. Each piece was named also their creator. There was a detailed description of what each piece was made of and how it would have looked in its original form. Michael explained the amazing intricate design and the complex engineering for its time. This was done in a way that was easy to understand. Some pieces were brought around to present in close proximity to us. This gave us an opportunity to see the intricacy of its craftsmanship. Some had the tiniest eyelashes put onto functioning eyelids. Some had tiny lips that opened and closed. Each tiny detail added to the extraordinarily exquisite beauty of the piece. The attention to detail really was beguiling. Michael and Maria then gave us the opportunity to explore the entire collection within the exhibition. There were also some interactive pieces that were fascinating to operate and watch. There was also an opportunity to enter the workshop. They were on hand to answer any questions you might have about the pieces and their repair and construction. Michael and Maria were extremely knowledgeable and it was a pleasure to listen to their presentation and their wonderful sense of humour made it light hearted. There is also a gift shop within the building. It sells small timber kits to assemble yourself. Also lots of curious things that would fascinate any recipient. I can highly recommend this exhibition if you are lucky enough to be in Forres on the last Saturday of the month. We both really enjoyed this exhibition and presentation. It was enthralling, intriguing and magical from start to finish. Booking is essential if you want to secure a place on this memorable experience! Many Thanks Lorna & Caitlin 😊
