Stadium needs to train people better

点评：I attended the game to see Inter Miami play against Real Salt Lake, and as we were arriving at the stadium, a woman outside suddenly yelled at me and told me to throw my poster in the trash because it was too big. I had to stop and explain to her that I had paid $3,000 to be there that night with my family, and that I have a son with autism, so I needed her to speak calmly. At that point, my son became very distressed, started crying, and began to scream.
Her response was, “Oh yeah, I have one of those,” and she continued walking away. Her tone was dismissive and very rude. When I reached the entrance, I mentioned the incident to other staff members, and they agreed that her behavior was inappropriate. I was told her name is Kathy. She had shoulder-length black hair with highlights and appeared to be in her 40s.
Although she apologized as we were leaving the stadium three hours later, the damage was already done. Her behavior created a very difficult and upsetting start to the evening for my son and our family. I did end up throwing away the poster that my students had made, but her lack of empathy and professionalism—especially after seeing my son in distress—was deeply disappointing.
