点评：We know from Wikipedia that the Torpedo Factory Art Center is home to the largest number of publicly accessible working artist studios in the U.S. This is a perfect destination for aspiring artists and fans of all manner of the corporeal arts – enamels, fibers, photographs, collages, the list goes on - collectively the arts shine along with their artists. My grandkids love the full-size deactivated torpedo, and we’ll spend an easy and inexpensive Sunday afternoon (the Center does not charge an admission fee) wandering around admiring the working spaces maintained by the artists in residence. The Center is adjacent to the Potomac Water Taxi and several classic Old Town restaurants, including Vola’s Dockside, a family favorite. You can take the free Old Town Trolley from the King Street Metro station; the Center is at the Trolley's last stop.
