点评:What a great day at the peacock sanctuary. The staff are very knowledgeable about the birds. I expected to go into the sanctuary and find it been a bit smelly, but it wasn't. The volunteers keep the place clean and tidy. It started to rain a wee bit, the volunteers then sat at a table with the children and they did some crafts and colouring. They even put the children's pictures up on the wall. The whole time, the kids were doing things, the volunteers were talking to them about the birds, and I was very impressed. I really recommend a visit to see the peacocks. It is free to get into the sanctuary. They do have a little gift shop to help bring in much needed funds, as the volunteers have to buy the birds food, pay vet bills, buy straw and sawdust anything the birds need, they rely heavily on public donations. Did you know that the peacocks have been in the park since 1905. Well worth a visit, and a bit of a donation into the box.
