The beach is shaped like the Greek letter Omega (Ω), with soft, pale sand curving gently around a turquoise bay that’s calm, shallow, and crystal clear. The water is perfect for swimming—no waves, no rocks, just a peaceful, warm lagoon-like experience that’s ideal for relaxing floats or simply wading in with a view of the surrounding hills.
What makes Voidokilia even more special is the backdrop: rolling dunes, protected wetlands filled with birds, and the dramatic ruins of Old Navarino Castle perched high above. Hike up to the castle for a panoramic view that will take your breath away—it’s worth every step.
