Train driving experience day.
Talyllyn Railway的点评
点评：Peter received a railway driving experience for their 30th birthday from us and his friends. Wow! The people at Talyllyn couldn't have made the day any better. Peter received a safety briefing and training from some amazing people, before we all jumped into a carriage and they drove us down the tracks! The sights seen from the train were stunning; from the distant coast to the highest hills, through all manner of greenery and trees, and even the Dolgoch waterfall. At the far end they even provided afternoon tea, before shunting the train to the other end of the carriages and taking us back.
If the quality of a company is shown through its' people, then Talyllyn is 10 out of 10. One of the drivers even said: "Thank you for paying for my hobby!" These are enthusiasts, including volunteers, often spending their holidays covered in soot and engine oil, or like our host today, ensuring visitors and holidaymakers have an experience like no other.
Talyllyn is history in motion. A visit here will enlighten the young, and bring back many happy memories to older ones. Peter will be smiling for many days and weeks to come.
