Kiko's Swim with Whales Tours的点评
点评：The whale swim itself is a mindblowing experience - to come face to face with Whales 10m away underwater. Its not cheap cUS$300 but it is once in a lifetime
There are a number of whaleswim operators on Eua though.
Skipper was professional and I like how the industry operates basically no more than one boat approaches one whale at any time. there's enough whales here during breeding season so everyone will have their share. They also are quite intentional in terms of steering the boat carefully when approaching whales which is again something I appreciate.
Do note whales are wild animals and sea outtings are weather dependent activities - and while i came face to face underwater with the whales i know folks who did not and were throwing their galls up.
In terms of kiko as an operator fhe only small points I will deduct from them is they are kind of slow responding to emails. This is also a family shop. I think they kind of lost track of the fact that I paid my deposit and tried to charge the full sum - but that was quick sorted our after good communication.
Otherwise I really enjoyed it. Fabulous experience.
