点评：It is a rare and exceptional person whose conduct and character transcends cultural differences and language barriers; who can make a stranger, far from familiar people and places, feel at home in his presence.
Mudasir and his father are gracious and attentive guides with great knowledge of the mountains and forests of the Pahalgam region that is home to him. He arranged for horses to carry our provisions and camping gear, leading us safely through the forests, extending his hand at every river crossing and patiently accommodating our preoccupation with fallen trees and exposed roots, and all the butterflies and birds we stopped to admire along the way! Attending to all the details of this wholesome trail, he ensured that we were comfortable, fed, safe, warm and sustained for an experience of a lifetime. It was a privilege to be taken on this walk with him as our guide. His character and his kindness have left a lasting impression on us.
