Lidderwat trek with Mudasir and team.

点评：I believe Kashmir has a lot to offer in terms of its beauty and people. During my trip, I was in Pahalgam wherein there’s Aru Valley which is the starting point for so many incredible treks. I feel one should atleast do one trek while they are here.
And so, at the last minute, I decided to do just that. Atleast one trek. It was 7 in the morning when I started making calls to hire a tour guide and decide on which trek to go on. I got in touch with Mudasir then and at 9:15 am, within two hours, he sent someone (Sarvar) as a tour guide for the Lidderwat trek.
Firstly, the trek in itself is beautiful. While, it might not have any alpine lakes to be found but the journey to and from is tranquil. Now coming back to my tour guide, Sarvar, who is just a 10 standard passout, made the trek very easygoing. He waited up on me time and again to check up on me. He knew the routes. Mudasir and Sarvar were even nice enough to bring me tea and biscuits as something to drink and eat during the trek.
I hope to go on a trek with Sarvar the next time I’m here.
