点评:We were very disappointed with the status of the park. I understand it is the end of summer but the majority of the water park, including the lazy river, was closed (they stated for construction on something for next year), some
rides were also shuttered and the ones that were opened were run on a skelton crew. It wasn’t very busy, they charged full price and it took a long time to get through a ride. The ferris wheel was only taking on two or the three maximum seats while they’d bypass three to four buckets. If you’re going to close rides then offer discounted prices.
The food pricing was asinine. I understand ballparks and amusement parks will obviously be higher priced but a foot long sub at their Subway was $25. It did come with a bag of chips or two cookies but pop was an additional $6. $31 for a combo meal?! Even Disney and the airport offer more affordable dining options. This was after I was charged $25 to park, which also exceeded Disney.
Valleyfair is a midsized theme park with some rides they still had in the 80/90’s, not a modern park or Disney.
It was an extremely disappointing experience.
