点评:On our drive along the south coast we stopped here as we told about this walk. We were told it was wheelchair friendly and a quick easy walk. The person who told us this did this 16 years ago and his memory was of the days when he was a lot fitter.
We had a group of 8 (4 Adults, a 15, 9 and 4 year old and 1 year in a pram).
The entire walk is about 2km (with a few switchbacks - which makes it longer) each way and it's all up on the way there and all down on the way back.
There are stunning views along the way both out to sea and inland and from the very top you can see Rabbit Island and some other great views. The very last part of the walk is stairs and not wheelchair / pram friendly. (about 50 to 100m to get higher).
There are lots of walks off the main trail (which is asphalt / tarred all the way) but these are all sand / gravel trails..
Suggest bringing a backpack with water (we went though ours very quickly with 4 people sharing one bottle). We even saw some whales in the distance if you get the right time of day and month of the year.
Lots of informative posters along the way.
Really enjoyed but wasn't quite prepared for it with the misinformation we were given.
