A Must-Visit Winery in Stellenbosch — Exceptional Wine, Incredible Hospitality, and Adorable Dogs!

点评：Thelema was one of the absolute highlights of our time in the Cape Winelands and is an essential stop for anyone visiting Stellenbosch.
The setting is simply breathtaking. The winery offers spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and vineyards, and there are beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces where you can relax and soak it all in. We could have happily spent the entire afternoon here.
The wine tasting itself was outstanding and incredibly reasonably priced, especially considering the quality of the wines. Several of our favorite wines from our entire South Africa trip came from Thelema. Do yourself a favor and order the famous "mint" wine—you won't regret it! It was unlike anything we had tasted before and quickly became a favorite.
The service was exceptional from start to finish. The staff was warm, knowledgeable, welcoming, and made us feel right at home.
The excellent cheeseboard was the perfect accompaniment to our tasting and made it easy to linger a little longer while enjoying the views.
And then there were the animals! The miniature horses wandering the grounds added so much charm, but the true stars of the winery were the resident vineyard dogs. They are quite possibly the two prettiest, friendliest dogs on the planet and completely made our visit. Spending time with them while sipping world-class wine made for an unforgettable experience.
Thelema perfectly combines exceptional wines, stunning scenery, warm hospitality, and a relaxed atmosphere. It was one of our favorite wineries in Stellenbosch, and we would return in a heartbeat.
