点评：We were unfortunately not satisfied with the service provided during our Island Hopping tour. The tour was advertised to include three main highlights: 1) Dolphin watching, 2) Snorkelling, and 3) Visits to Balicasag and the Virgin Island.
The booking process was smooth and the transition to the boat went well. However, the experience fell short:
* Dolphin Watching. Upon arriving at the first island, we were told there hadn’t been any dolphin sightings for over a week. While we understand nature can be unpredictable, this should have been communicated upfront earlier. As a young family, this is something you look forward to.
Snorkelling. We advised the team that the snorkels provided were broken, but despite this, we were still charged the full rate. No discount or alternative was offered, which was disappointing.
Virgin Island. We were only informed at the first island that Virgin Island was closed, and had apparently been closed for some time with no reopening expected until December. This was especially frustrating as it was one of the main reasons we booked the tour.
To be fair, the snorkel guide was excellent and made that part of the experience enjoyable.
Overall, it was poor communication that let the experience down. If key parts of the tour are unavailable, that should be made clear before booking, especially when charging full price (minimum 4,500 pesos). What’s presented on the website should reflect the actual experience.
Also, don’t expect the tour to last the full 5 to 6 hours as advertised unless you're happy to spend most of that time on a single beach.
Would recommend confirming all inclusions before booking to avoid disappointment.
