Petra by Night的点评
点评：We visited Petra by Night in February and unfortunately found it quite disappointing, especially considering the price (30 JOD per person).
The walk to the Treasury takes about 30 minutes each way, which is beautiful with the candlelight, but the actual “show” only lasts around 15 minutes (ours was from 21:15 to 21:30). It consists of some music and storytelling while sitting on simple plastic stools, with a small cup of tea served.
It’s not a light show or a spectacular production – it’s very minimal. Our children’s reaction was honestly: “Is this it?” which says a lot.
The highlight of the evening was actually the starry sky above the Treasury, which was stunning. The atmosphere is nice, but in our opinion it’s not worth the 30 JOD unless you specifically want to experience the candlelit walk and quiet nighttime setting.
Petra itself during the day is absolutely incredible – don’t miss that. But manage your expectations for Petra by Night.
