点评：I had been given a bottle of de Venoge as a housewarming gift and although we did not make a booking to visit, I had hoped to have time to stop in. As luck would have it, the skies opened up as we left another house presenting a perfect opportunity to pop in and wait out the rain. I think it was serendipitous because this turned out to be my favorite champagne of the trip. It was not the most service oriented of our tastings, but we were also at the end of our time and weren't looking to go in depth, nonetheless our server was lovely. My only complaint is that the final champagne of the tasting, I believe their older vintage or nature, had already been opened and being an older wine, I believe it had gone flat. I might have liked it more if it were fresh. In any case, we loved the Blanc de Blancs and Blanc de Noirs so much we had to make room in the suitcases for several to take home and they gifted us a vase in appreciation. They were the only champagne house to do so.
