Probably the best animal farm in Desaru for up close interaction w animals

点评：We enjoyed this farm! Much better place than the nearby “mini zoo” which had way too many children and adults man-handling the baby animals like ducklings and chicks with little supervision.
This place is way less crowded and animals have more space and seem much happier and well cared for. There is a guide (young lady) who brings u from one enclosure to another and explains the characteristics of each type of animal and how they care for them. They are also assuring when it comes to what animals you can touch or can’t touch. Seems like the boss is also v knowledgeable about the different species of animals and trains these guides well.
We would def come back here again when we next visit Desaru. Current entrance fee is RM35 per adult and RM25 per child. The feed costs Rm20. More expensive entrance fees than the mini zoo but well worth the extra u pay.
P/S: The name “Alpaca Farm” is pretty misleading as they have many more animals than alpacas. There are goats, cows, horses, deer, capybaras, alpacas, meerkats, patagonia, racoons, emus, ostriches, cassowary and even many lizards/reptiles. Do visit them if you want to learn more about exotic animals up close.
