弗吉尼亚美术博物馆的点评
点评：🤗 The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts is a must-see for anyone who truly loves art, history, and beauty. We love museums, and this one absolutely exceeded our expectations.
👏 There is such a wide range of artwork to enjoy — sculptures, silver, paintings, historical displays, and exhibits covering many different genres, cultures, and time periods. The Russian art and history displays were especially fascinating, and the Fabergé eggs were definitely one of the highlights of our visit.
One painting that really touched us showed a mother choosing her children as her true treasure over worldly riches. It was a beautiful and meaningful picture of motherhood that stayed with us long after we left that gallery.
🌟 This museum really does feel like a maze of beauty. Around every corner, there is something unique, elegant, historic, or thought-provoking to enjoy. The Mellon Collection of British sporting art was a little difficult to find and took us through several levels of the museum, but it was well worth the search.
Plan to spend at least a couple of hours here, and probably more if you want to take your time. The fact that admission is free makes this even more impressive. This is a world-class museum experience and absolutely worth adding to your Richmond itinerary. ❤️
