点评：My partner and I booked The Odyssey Tour at Scapa Distillery, and it turned out to be one of the absolute highlights of our time on the Orkney Islands.
By chance, we ended up being the only two people on the tour, which made the entire experience incredibly exclusive and personal.
Our guide, Andrew, was simply phenomenal. His technical knowledge about the distillation process was outstanding, but what really set him apart was how he shared the historical background and his own personal anecdotes. It never felt like a scripted lecture, but rather like a fascinating conversation with a passionate expert.
The absolute highlight was the tasting inside the "The Noust" tasting room. This stunning, clifftop building overlooks the dramatic Scapa Flow and is shaped like an upturned fishing boat – honestly, this room alone is worth the trip to Orkney!
Sampling the rare single casks and vintage expressions there was Kind of a magical experience.
To top it all off, the logistics were seamless. The shuttle service from Kirkwall was very convenient, and the staff at the distillery shop were incredibly welcoming and helpful. If you love whisky and want an authentic, top-tier experience, do not hesitate to book the Odyssey package!
