Scarowinds: Nickel & Diming. Greedy, egregious, cynical corporate greed

点评：Scarowinds is nickel & diming customers. I had a Gold Season pass, which covers unlimited visits to the park year round and includes the regular Carowinds, the Scarowinds halloween event, and the winter event.
As of 2025, there is now a separate "haunted attractions" pass that costs an extra $10 per person if you want to actually go inside of the haunted houses. This was not required in any of the years prior.
I'm not paying extra for something that was included last year for no extra charge. We turned around at the entrance gate and just went home. I've since cancelled my season pass and deleted my Carowinds account. They will continue to do this to you if you roll over and let them. I won't know, because I'm never going back. I've been going to that park since age 12, but I'll find somewhere better that doesn't try to price gouge and milk more cash out of me.
