点评：We have been visiting Bodnant at least yearly for 15 years and this will be the last time! Beautiful trees and gardens. Saw a number small garden birds plus a heron. Also a tiny vole! So why only 4 out of 5. Like the rest of the National Trust its gone dog crazy! Dogs permitted every day of the week. If you look at the guidance for dog owners, Bodnant may supply poo bags and short leads. Dog poo bins are more prevalent than ordinary bins. Non dog owners are subsidising dogs owners, some of whom still can't behave appropriately. Used dog faeces bag thrown down by a bench ( see photo) and a couple throwing a ball for their dog to chase! As we sat enjoying the peace and quiet, dogs started barking and yapping. Most dogs are lovely and most owners are too, but still the vast majority of people don't have a dog and personally I don't want dog paws and dog snot on my trousers from someone else's pet. Our nearest NT house and garden has also let dogs into its gardens so when our subscription comes up for renewal, we will let it lapse. We'll done NT you've lost two more customers.
