Well worth the visit!
Whitby Marine Discovery Centre的点评
点评：Visited on impulse whilst in Whitby and had a great time. Purchased 2 adult tickets for £12 which was in line with other places in the area.
The aquarium showed a variety of local marine life and each tank is fitted with touchscreen information boards! Whilst the building is on the small side it is packed with plenty to look at and plenty to read about! Whilst primarily focused on the marine life itself there was a lovely wall of information depicting Whitby's rich maritime history. We both thoroughly enjoyed learning about the lobster hatchery and a very helpful member of staff spoke with us and answered our questions, thoroughly explaining each stage of the process.
Finally the gift shop, whilst being small, was reasonably priced (compared to other shops nearby) and had a range of products for both adults and children. Overall lovely visit, staff were welcoming and very friendly and showed clear vested interest in conservation.
