Astrit Game Room的点评
点评：After meeting Astrit as my guide on the Peaks of the Balkans trek two years ago, I finally had the chance to visit his incredible gaming collection in Peja. Astrit's Game Room is a treasure trove of gaming history that spans from the very beginning of video games until now. The collection includes very rare prototypes and consoles that tell the complete story of how gaming evolved. What makes it special isn't just the impressive array of hardware, but how Astrit presents it all.
The experience brought back so much childhood nostalgia, especially seeing the evolution of Game Boy and all the Tetris variations. These days I mainly play games with my nephews and nieces, telling them stories about "the old times," so seeing these vintage consoles in person was like taking an amazing trip down memory lane.
What makes this truly special is Astrit's incredible knowledge and storytelling ability. He doesn't just show you the consoles - he takes you through the history of how gaming developed, the stories behind each piece, and the cultural impact they had. His passion is infectious and his sense of humor makes the whole experience so much fun.
Beyond gaming, Astrit has a LOT of knowledge about Peja, Kosovo's history, and the region. He's an incredibly warm and hospitable host who offers the kind of authentic, “off-the-beaten-path” experience that makes travel memorable. I highly recommend arranging a visit - you'll leave with a new appreciation for gaming history and some fun stories to tell!
