Unbeatable safari experience with EXG Safaris and Salim!

If I could pay TripAdvisor to let me give 6 out of 5 stars to EXG Safaris and Salim (our safari guide from EXG), I would.
Salim Zawadi, our guide, was a rockstar. Fun, engaging, knowledgeable, hospitable, and doing everything he could to make our safari experience as wonderful and perfect as possible. The guy drives a Land Rover through dirt, rocks, mud, and water like an absolute pro, has fun stories, and always gave us both options and suggestions on where we should go next to see the best animals. While there are no guarantees about what animals you’ll see on a safari (as Salim reminded us), with his deep knowledge of Tanzania’s national parks, we easily saw the Big Five (including MULTIPLE leopards - AMAZING), as well as a cheetah and tons of lion cubs. This experience beat all expectations, hands down.
We were comfortable at all times, well fed (with excellent Tanzanian cuisine) for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and had incredible snacks along the way (wait til you try fresh sugar cane from a local village).
EXG also set us up for comfort and luxury with our accommodations. Our stays at the selected hotels / lodges / camp (big shout out to Serenity Camps and Lodges, as well as Masailand Coffee Lodge) were beautiful, clean, and spacious, and you could not ask for friendlier and more helpful staff. We were treated like VIPs everywhere.
I cannot recommend EXG Safaris, and especially our incredible safari guide, Salim, enough!
