Fantastic campsite open all year

点评：We arrived really late a wet Saturday night having followed the erroneous GPS coordinates from the camping and motor home club . Having hit major traffic we were late arriving and horrified on arrival to see the reception shut at five despite the club advising. 7pm
We need not of worried as after pressing a few buttons two lovely chaps welcomed us and set us on our way to our pitch .
This seriously is the best site we have come across in decades . Close to two lakes , ideal for a summer family trip , so much to do . Cycle routes to endless villages and canals a perfect haven .
We were in a wet winter but still brilliant . Large pitch . Close to the super warm toilet block.
Super quite and despite the rain really great for the cycling . The reception is open in the day and super friendly , helpful and loads of leaflets on the area
If we have to be critical , it’s the payment card . Once we got the hang of it it was ok . But we must have lost about 5 euros not realising how it works
You pay for showers , 25 cents for a couple of minutes which is fine . But dont move it away from the pad as the money comes off regardless .
We were in a camper an and the service area was not working so lost a euro trying to fill up on fresh water . Not a major issue as the super helpful staff said we could fill up at the toilet block .
We used the waging machine and dyers as got a bit muddy with the cycling . Reasonable tTe about £5 for big wash and dry.
The lakes are superb and a nice restaurant . We ate there and very nice !
