点评:This is such a hidden gem! We learned of the existence of this museum at a fundraiser for another organization where Glenn spoke and brought some of his artifacts to show us. We decided we definitely needed to see more of what was being preserved at this museum. Today we took a 90-minute tour that ended up being almost 150 minutes. Stephanie did a great job showing us our history. SO much to see, and we were allowed to touch and hold many of the pieces. Documents with original signatures of the founding fathers, a lock of George Washington's hair, the key to the box at Ford's Theater where Abraham Lincoln was shot, FDR's wheelchair, and some more modern artifacts--a sword from Braveheart, a Golden Ticket from Willy Wonka, "Rosebud" from Citizen Kane, original scripts, and SO much more to see. We could have spent another hour there, but it was already past closing time. Your GPS will get you right to where the museum is, but you will wonder if you are in the right place. It really is a HIDDEN gem, in an unassuming business park. We made reservations a few days in advance, and there were 5 in our tour group. Their schedule is somewhat irregular, so you need to check their website for tour dates and times. The price was very reasonable too. $16 for seniors.
