点评:My family and I decided to go visit the art gallery in Shreveport today. The gardens outside were beautiful and my children loved seeing the koi and turtles in the pond. Things took a turn when we decided to go inside. The art was beautiful and i really enjoyed looking at the 1800's inspired art, especially since I'm on season 3 of Bridgerton so it really hit home lol. The employees were all nice except for the Hispanic lady who wrongfully accused me of touching a painting. When i explained to her that i didn't not touch it i was merely trying to see she told me not to breath on it and then had the nerve to ask me if I spoke English. I just felt like it was rude especially since i wasn't even that close to the painting as she was making it seem. I feel like we were being targeted because we were the only family of color in the building. I understand that Shreveport doesn't have the best reputation and the valuables in the gallery are to be protected but i just feel like she was wrong to accuse me of something that i didn't do in front of my children who know better than to touch anything because we had a thorough discussion before we went inside that it is absolutely off limits to touch. Anyway, the older white woman next to the library was very friendly and showed my children how to get to the kids area to play with legos. I also wish the library was open because that would have been neat.
