Good facial and lovely wellness suite, but not quite “personalised
SpaSpa and The Wellness Suite At The Spa Hotel的点评
点评：I visited The SpaSpa in Tonbridge for the ESPA Personalised Facial (£90 for 55 minutes). Overall, it was a nice and relaxing facial and the spa itself was pleasant, but I did leave feeling it could have been a little more personalised for the price.
The treatment itself was enjoyable, however the therapist didn’t ask me any questions about my skin concerns or skin type beforehand, and none of the products used were explained to me during or after the facial. I think having that consultation element and a quick explanation of the products would have made the experience feel much more tailored and in line with what I expected from a “personalised” facial.
The wellness suite was lovely and very quiet when I visited. There’s a nice small jacuzzi and a larger hydropool, and the relaxation beds were especially comfortable and made it easy to unwind.
However, the changing rooms are very small, and I personally wouldn’t visit just for the general spa facilities outside of the wellness suite. The non-suite sauna and steam room also felt a bit awkwardly placed, almost like they’re in a corridor where people are constantly walking past, which takes away from the relaxation.
That said, the facial itself was still relaxing and the wellness suite was a real highlight — it just felt like a few areas could be improved to make the overall experience more polished.
