点评:My wife, two daughters (20 and 17), and I visited Point Park on July 2nd.
The first thing prospective visitors should know is that the free parking near the park is extremely limited, and you very likely will need to pay to park on the street using the "ParkMobile" QR codes on the signs. Parking enforcement is VERY diligent so attempting to park on the street without paying will almost certainly result in a ticket.
When we arrived at Point Park, there was not a "ticket taker" at the gate, so we had to use a Kiosk to pay for admission. Some might consider the price, $10 per person, to be a bit high side for panoramic views, so keep that in mind as you are considering this attraction.
Once you enter the park there is a perimeter walkway that leads you around the park. It is handicapped accessible and should be doable for kids through able bodied senior citizens. There are a handful of spots where there are park benches to sit and enjoy the views. There is also a large monument detailing the battle that occurred on lookout mountain during the civil war.
Because this is largely a quiet "enjoy the views" type of destination, those with young kids and short attention spans should probably skip this, as there is quite literally nothing to do other than immerse yourself in the views. With that being said, for nature loving adults and those that like history, this is worth the visit.
