点评:When my husband and I decided to "do" a New England trip I found a different moose viewing company that was very similar to this one. Only, they had prices for a cabin and a meal included if desired. By the time we were on Day 4 of our trip my husband pulled out his map to make changes. The moose viewing tour was nixed but by Day 5 I complained so much that while we were at a Maine Information center my husband found a brochure for New England Outdoor Center's Day Tours. Reservations were made. Nice woman on the phone and she was even nicer in person. We got into the van which wasn't very comfortable for me. The row behind the driver would have been better but that seat (window behind the driver), as was the passenger side front one were taken by two people who had taken the tour the previous day. They came again because they had not seen any moose the previous day and got this trip for free. The road taken was a logging road. Also uncomfortable. The guide was awesome and very knowledgeable. The tour is great for city people. The brochure gives you the impression that you will indeed see moose. There is no mention of leaving the van to "hike" and so there were some instances that I stayed behind on the van as I am 65 and disabled. One instance the guide assisted my husband with bringing me back some items moose eat. That was so thoughtful!!!
