Somewhat disapointing
Lake Murray的点评
点评：Wanted to visit South Carolina while riding my motorcycle, in my honest opinion Lake Murray was nice to see one time, man-made to support the local electricity supply, and the view of the lake's homes is all South Carolina Rich folks.
Once you ride a mile in any direction it becomes apparent of a failed infrastructure of crumbling roads and filthy debris filling the intersections, making it a danger for motorcycles. Not sure what the DOT does or how laws are enforced but in my state during a collision investigation the tow truck drivers sweep up debris.
I witnessed this not once but three times during my visit, Tow truck drivers leaving the glass and small pieces of plastic in the roadway and kicking the larger parts to the side of the road. It is Sad the locals put up with that along with household garbage dumped along the back roads.
The local restaurants serve some of the best Barbecue in the South so make sure you try it, Or Just bypass SC and head up riding to the North Carolina Mountains and make your way to Tennessee.
