弗吉尼亚海滩散步道的点评
点评：This beach gets high ratings for the sand quality, how long is it so that it doesn’t feel crowded, width of the beach, etc but I was a tad disappointed by the lack of fun and excitement of a typical boardwalk. High points: separate pedestrian and bike lane, water fountain and washing stations, benches, Low points: don’t expect a fun electric vibe of a wooden boardwalk with arcades, amusement parks, boardwalk fries, gift shops, ice cream stores, etc in a concentrated area -it’s too quiet and lack of energy at lease for me, $4 just to enter the fishing pier on 18th street, it’s mainly hotels and condos that front the boardwalk with shops and restaurants spread out. Furthermore the boardwalk was concrete all the way from top to bottom, miss the wooden feel of a typical boardwalk. It’s a boardwalk that appeals to some and not everyone.
