Wonderful place but changes are unwelcome.

点评：We have been going to this wonderful place for ten years now but this time, under the new ownership, was different. Previously, you could wander round the gardens at will for a friendly £12 odd. Now, you have to book ahead and be part of a group of 30. No individual visits. The commentary is in French, though the guide is willing to answer questions in English. But the two hours of tour and a long commentary at each stopping point, and for people around age 90, and without there always being a seat to sit down on, it was too much and we pulled out early. We couldn't even escape without a gardener unlocking the gate for us! Then at 25 euros, the cost is considerable. So, farewell Bois des Moutiers. Its been good, thank you, but I doubt if we will visit again under the new regime.
