点评:Let me begin with, my husband is a Ferrari fanatic. He had been looking forward to this museum since I was scheduled to travel to Italy for work. It is a museum in two parts and he loved both. The first part of the museum is a collection of various Ferrari cars from over the decades including today. This is a great place to see a sampling of the fine motorcars from the company and a history of those. In addition, there was an exhibition on the lowest floor where a display of Louis Klemantaski’s photographs over the decades were shown. The centerpiece in that room however was a priceless Ferrari 166. It had tape around it showing not to touch it but that wasn't really deterring anyone which made me really sad. A little girl came running in while we were in the room and jumped on the car. I gasped, the father yelled, and the mother just stood there. As much as I love the fact you can see this priceless (according to my husband) piece of beautiful history, the fact that a little girl was able to run and jump on it makes me think that there should be security in that room to protect that car from damage. In fact, there were a lot of people throughout the museum touching the cars where it was clearly noted, do not touch. Just an observation.
Once you leave the area where all the cars are displayed, you move into the childhood home and workshop of Enzo Ferrari. This area is filled with examples of engines, and drawings of cars and engines that were made by Enzo himself. There is a remarkable staged scene of his office where, as I understand it, many of the pieces came from Enzo’s office making it that more appealing to Ferrari enthusiasts. This museum really spoke to both my husband and me and helped me understand better the Ferrari mindset and quest for greatness. It's truly a must see for those true Tifosa.
