Britannia Pier的点评
点评：Have been going to this pier for many years. Can't comment on the Theatre element, as haven't been in there.
Since last year there has been some serious work put into the pier, including new frontage & a new arcade building. All is good, but wish they'd kept the donkey Derby (could've been incorporated into the new arcade). All the stalls as you enter the pier, chippy, & bar are still in situ 👍
The end of the pier (outside Long John Silver bar) is a bit of a suntrap, & is sheltered from the wind. The bar itself is good, & the staff friendly. The toilets need attention (cleaning is... well I'm not sure it happens). The only other slight moan is that it shuts at about 5 for several hours, & they advise you to go to the Tavern at the pier entrance 🤔 The issue being that the Tavern isn't the suntrap that the one at the end of the pier is. Not sure why this strange practice takes place, as I'm sure it's costing them custom tbh.
For kids, there are rides and amusements-a-plenty, and it's sure to be a winner.
Donkey rides are right next to the pier too. Looking forward to seeing what the end result of the refurb is when we come back
