From the moment we stepped aboard, everything was effortless — the captain was warm, professional and clearly a master of his craft. He spoke impeccable English, explained the plan clearly, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and safe. He was incredibly punctual, checking in before pick-up and getting us out to the best spots right on schedule.
The boat was tidy and well-stocked, and the crew were friendly and attentive without ever being overbearing. The captain’s local knowledge is unbeatable — he picked out beautiful, productive fishing grounds that produced steady action all morning. He read the tide, the wind and our lines like a pro, gave excellent tips for technique, and tailored the trip to our group’s skill level. We caught a great variety of fish and had a real sense of being guided by an expert who cares about results and the overall experience.
What stood out most: outstanding customer service. The captain went above and beyond — offering cold drinks, helping with bait and rigging, and making sure photos and fish care were handled respectfully. Everything felt personalized and thoughtful; he was patient with beginners, encouraging with seasoned anglers, and genuinely excited when anyone landed a good fish. On return he made sure we knew catch-handling best practices and even suggested local places to get our catch cooked afterwards.
