Ananthaa Padmanabha Swaamy Temple的点评
点评：This temple is located at Adayar in Chennai.
The main deity here is Lord Padmanabha (VISHNU) in Ananda-Sayanam posture.
This temple is well maintained and popular in Chennai.
The main deity (Sri Ananda Padmanabha) is a replica of Lord Sri Padmanabha of Trivandrum temple.
The main deity Lord Vishnu is depicted as reclining on the mythological five-headed serpent as in the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram. The deity is so beautiful that one cannot stop admiring.
There are three doors that open into the sanctum sanctorum. Devotees could see the Lord’s head, his mighty body and his lotus feet from each of these doors as in the case of Sri Padmanabha Temple in Trivandrum.
Apart from the main deity the Idol of Lord Narasimha is also present here which is majestic and attractive.
There are separate shrines for Lord Ganesha, Lord Siva, Lord Hauman, Navagraha within the complex.
This is a calm and serene place with full of positive vibes.
The only drawback here is the Car parking.
The temple is very neat and well maintained.
Those who didn’t have a chance to visit and have a darshan in Sri Padmanabha temple this temple is a boon.
The temple is said to be constructed in 1962 on a piece of land donated by Chithira Thirunal, the last Maharaja of Travancore.
It is built in the Kerala style.
We were blessed to have a darshan of Lord Padmanabha here.
