点评：Excellent afternoon of fun with friends for my birthday.
I can't throw for toffee, but Damo is an excellent instructor and soon had the whole group (10) getting our axes in the target.
I'd heard about TBV and thought it would be a good option for a group of friends. The online booking only allows groups up to 8, but it said to contact them via WhatsApp. I set a message at 10.30pm, not expecting a response until th next day, but Damo came back almost immediately. We chatted and he sent me the confirmation of the booking, when I then realised I'd given him the wrong date! All swiftly rectified and he sent all the necessary information with details of what kind of shoes to wear, how to find the location and a link for all participants to sign the waiver form.
The session itself starts with a brief intro and safety briefing - real axes, sharp, be careful - then a bit of a practice throw just to see how it works. Damo then gave us a bit of coaching and we moved on to the fun part with games and scoring.
At the end of the session we got to dress up and have a team photo.
I heartily recommend this as a great fun activity for anyone. Everyone in our group had a great time and we're already talking about going again, jointly and severally.
