Crunch, crinkle, crunch
Bushnell Center for Performing Arts的点评
点评：I recently attended a performance by the Hartford Symphony Orchestra. During the performance, I was shocked by the number of guests noisily eating potato chips out of bags that crinkled loudly enough to be heard while the orchestra played. I was surrounded by people who not only crinkled their bags through the performance, but crunched with vigor and then got up numerous times during the performance to get more.
When I spoke to management about how disruptive this was, they shrugged their shoulders and said this was their policy: the concession stand is open throughout the performance and patrons can eat and drink whatever they want during the show. They claim they “are striving to create a welcoming and enjoyable environment for all guests, and try to promote the reverence and respect that live performances deserve.” Well, that’s certainly a contradiction to their concession policy. Big fail.
