点评:This was our first time at the Bushnell ... a beautiful theater, very art deco, it reminded us of a mini–Radio City Music Hall, very Rockefeller Center'esque'. Although beautiful, the venue was also very uncomfortable, confined tight seating, no leg room [I'm 5'10" 165, a larger person certainly would not enjoy] no arm room, and lack of air conditioning. During the intermission, the AC kicked on briefly, halfway through the second act we wound up standing in the back of the theater for the rest of the play, Neil Diamond’s ‘A Beautiful Noise’ which was outstanding.
Personally, I’m not a fan of downtown Hartford, it seems as if everything closes early and there is not much in the immediate area for dining within walking distance of the theater. Free parking next door was a plus and the Bushnell has a café inside that offers salads, wraps, baguet sandwiches, baked goods, and a coffee bar; they also have a full-service bar, mixed drinks, beer, and wine which were half the price of what we've paid at other venues (oakdale, bpt amphitheater, etc).
