点评：Hats off to you, Pensacola. Volunteers and city officials orchestrated the creation of one of the most inclusive, thoughtful, and well-maintained veterans' memorials that I have seen. Though necessarily on a smaller scale, the park's monuments and statues rival some of the most significant memorials in America.
Every visitor to Pensacola should make the effort to visit this beautiful "attraction." The park is situated in a prime location within city limits and has open space where families can picnic, etc. When I visited, a father and son were flying a kite. I am certain that the service members who paid the ultimate sacrifice and their gold star families would be happy to know that such an activity is possible on this soil because freedoms have been preserved by courageous souls like the ones honored at Pensacola's Veterans' Memorial Park.
