Great wildlife viewing and comfortable accommodations

点评：Spent two nights here on a group birding trip to the area. First, the national park area. We did the long drive around the park one afternoon and it was a great experience, with lots of great birds and mammals. There are a few places you can get out, including one rest area for a bathroom break, but generally you must stay in your vehicle. The karoo habitat is intriguing (especially for someone who has never visited here before) and the wildlife amazing. A definite must-visit location for the avid birding/wildlife enthusiast. The accommodations were also very nice. We each had a bungalow outfitted with kitchenette, living room, bedroom and bath, as well as a lovely outdoor deck with amazing views. Self-catering is definitely an option, which we did not do. The restaurant was good and the food as expected (not 5-star, but fit our needs just fine). If you’re interested in wildlife or just want a lovely outdoor adventure with nice accommodations, would recommend a visit to this park.
